This is a visualization of the human capacity to induce and undergo change of the psychological and spiritual kind.

1. The internal field of influence is the zone of bounded* possibility. It's reach and quality of impact depends on various intrinsic factors; emotional intelligence, morality, intellect, etc. Within this field, change is observed to be induced from within.
2. It's intricate connection to the external field ensures that external events act as stimuli, and ultimately as motivation for internal change. The resulting effects from the internal change can in turn cause effects on external events.
3. However, the spillover of external factors in internal change cannot pivot the individual into external events beyond whatever is possible for the individual to experience. Meaning, the limits of internal change are proportional to the degree of variance in external events.
4. Here, we must note that the separation between internal and external factors of variance, as perceived in an integrated overview of change itself, is not fixed. The lines between both are ever changing, always fluidic, as all of human nature. Hence, human behavior is both affected and unaffected by a fluid mix of internal and external factors of reality.
5. If this pattern is observable for the mean number of individuals in human society, then we have with ourselves a rough visualization of the STANDARD DEVIATION of behavior that a person would undergo through either routine life or a life-altering event/crisis.
